If Claim fails on TRON, the usual causes are: nothing to withdraw yet, wallet not connected / wrong account, not enough Bandwidth/Energy (or TRX) to pay the claim tx, or a wallet rejection. VoteDesk will not invent a claimable balance when the chain returns zero.
Work the checklist below in order before assuming rewards are “lost.”
Symptoms
- Claim button disabled, errors, or wallet popup rejects.
- Unclaimed amount shows 0 while you believe you should have rewards.
- Transaction broadcasts then fails on-chain.
Fix checklist
- Confirm the connected address matches the one that holds votes (Status tab).
- Confirm unclaimed reward > 0 via Status / Claim read. If zero, see rewards not showing.
- Ensure the wallet can pay resources for the claim transaction.
- Update TronLink (or your wallet), dismiss stuck popups, retry once.
- If the tx fails, open the tx id on TronScan and read the failure reason — do not spam claims.
What Claim does not fix
Claim will not restore unstaked TRX, cancel a pending unfreeze, or create TP. Those are stake flows — use UnstakeDesk for freeze/unfreeze status.
