A Super Representative (SR) on TRON is a network node operator elected by TRON Power votes. The highest-ranked SRs (commonly discussed as the Top 27) produce blocks. Addresses outside that set are often called Partners or candidates — they can still attract votes and participate in reward sharing without producing blocks.
“Witness” in older TRON docs is effectively the same role family as SR. When VoteDesk says SR, it means the vote targets you see on the Vote tab.
Why SRs matter to voters
- They produce (or compete to produce) blocks that keep the chain moving.
- Their brokerage setting affects how rewards are split with voters.
- Rank and vote share change over time as the network re-votes.

Top 27 filter = block producers. Partners filter = ranks roughly 28–127 from TronScan’s witness pagination. Choosing between them is a voter preference about production vs reward-partner strategies — not a VoteDesk recommendation.
