FAQ — Vote & Claim
For people voting for Super Representatives and claiming TRX rewards. Not financial advice.
How do I vote for a Super Representative?
You need TRON Power (TP). Open Vote, pick an SR or SR Partner, enter how much TP to cast, then sign in your wallet. If you have no TP, stake TRX in your wallet first — VoteDesk focuses on vote + claim, not staking UX.
How do I claim voting rewards?
Rewards accrue as blocks are produced, but they are not spendable until you withdraw. Open Claim, review the on-chain unwithdrawn amount, then sign. Protocol call: withdrawbalance.
SRs vs SR Partners?
Top 27 are Super Representatives and produce blocks. Ranks 28–127 are SR Partners; they share the voting-reward pool but do not produce blocks.
What is brokerage?
The commission an SR/Partner keeps before voters are paid. Each candidate can set their own rate. VoteDesk shows brokerage when the API exposes it — use it to compare candidates, not as a promised APR.
When do my votes update?
At the next maintenance period (commonly every 6 hours on Mainnet). Cancelling mid-cycle does not erase the current cycle’s snapped share.
Can I change or clear my vote?
Yes — cast a new vote allocation (or zero out) and sign. The new allocation applies from the next maintenance cycle. Use Status to see who you currently support.
Is VoteDesk custodial?
No. Non-custodial. Votes and claims are signed only in your wallet. We never ask for seed phrases or private keys.
Where does live SR data come from?
Public TronScan / TronGrid APIs. If a request fails, VoteDesk shows an error instead of inventing balances or ranks.
