Voting rewards on TRON accrue while you vote, but they stay in an unwithdrawn reward balance until you claim. Claiming is a signed on-chain action (commonly withdrawbalance) that moves rewards into your spendable TRX.
If the Claim button fails or the amount looks stuck at zero, jump to the cannot claim and rewards not showing problem pages after you finish this happy path.
What “claim” actually does
- Does not unstake your TRX.
- Does not cancel your votes.
- Only withdraws accrued voting rewards into liquid TRX (subject to protocol rules and timing).
Steps on VoteDesk
- Open the Claim tab.
- Connect your wallet. Review the unclaimed amount shown from on-chain reads.
- If the amount is greater than zero, click Claim and sign.
- Confirm the tx on TronScan if you want an explorer receipt.
- Recheck Status — liquid TRX should rise; unclaimed reward should drop.
Why claim amount can be small
Reward size depends on how much TP you vote, which SRs you support (brokerage and block production), and how long you have been voting. New votes may need a maintenance cycle before rewards start accruing in a way explorers surface clearly.
