In TronLink you vote by opening the wallet’s Vote / SR screen, choosing one or more Super Representatives, allocating TRON Power, and signing the transaction. TronLink is the signer; the chain records the vote — VoteDesk can show the same live ranks and status without holding your keys.
Use this path if you prefer voting inside the extension or mobile app. Use VoteDesk if you want a desk-style Top 27 / Partners table, Claim, and Status in one place.
Prerequisites
- TronLink installed and unlocked on Mainnet.
- Staked TRX so the wallet shows available TP.
- Enough Bandwidth/Energy for the vote tx.
Steps in TronLink
- Open TronLink → confirm you are on Mainnet.
- Find Vote (wording varies by version: Vote, SR, Governance).
- Review available TP. If it is zero, stake first (e.g. via UnstakeDesk).
- Pick SR(s), set TP amounts, review brokerage / rank if shown, then confirm.
- Approve the signature prompt. Save the tx id if you want to verify on TronScan.
Verify on VoteDesk
Paste your address into the Status tab. You should see active votes and unclaimed reward estimates after the API returns. Vote changes still wait for the next maintenance window.
