On TronScan you connect a wallet, open the Votes / Super Representatives section, allocate TRON Power, and sign. TronScan is the network explorer; voting there is the same on-chain action as voting from VoteDesk or TronLink.
VoteDesk is useful when you want a focused Vote · Claim · Status desk with live Top 27 / Partners without browsing the full explorer UI.
Steps on TronScan
- Open TronScan and connect your wallet (browser extension or WalletConnect-style flow, depending on version).
- Navigate to Votes / Super Representatives (labels change over time — look for governance / SR lists).
- Confirm available TP. Zero TP means you must stake before voting.
- Select SR(s), enter vote amounts, review fees/resources, sign.
- Wait for the next maintenance cycle for the new vote set to apply.
When to use VoteDesk instead
If you mainly care about comparing Top 27 vs Partners, claiming rewards, and checking status for one address, open the VoteDesk desk. Rank data still originates from TronScan APIs — VoteDesk does not invent SR lists.
