To change your TRON vote, submit a new vote transaction that reallocates your TRON Power to different Super Representatives (or clears votes if your wallet supports an empty set). The previous allocation is replaced; you do not “send” votes like a transferable token.
Protocol timing still applies: the new set takes effect from the next maintenance period. Rewards already snapped for the current cycle are not retroactively erased by a mid-cycle switch in the way people sometimes expect — read official reward docs if you are optimizing cycle edges.
Steps
- Open Vote (or your wallet’s Vote screen).
- Check Status first so you know who you currently support.
- Select the new SR(s) and TP amounts. To stop supporting someone, set their allocation to zero in the new set.
- Sign the vote transaction.
- After the next maintenance window, re-check Status.
Switching Top 27 ↔ Partners
Partners (roughly ranks 28–127) can receive votes and share rewards but do not produce blocks. Moving TP between producers and partners is the same vote tx type — only the target addresses change.
